What is Nuffnang Live?

Nuffnang Live is a platform with various tools to help individuals and business owners sell better on Facebook Live.

Is Nuffnang Live free to use?

Nuffnang Live Pro Package is free to use without any upfront fee. Sellers are only charged with a RM2 transaction fee for every order when a customer checks out using our integrated payment gateway (FPX).

Who can use Nuffnang Live?

Anyone who plans to do live selling on Facebook.

What are the fees involved for using Nuffnang Live?

There is no usage fee for Nuffnang Live Pro whereas the fee for Nuffnang Live Business will be dependent on the seller requirements.

I want to sell my products on Facebook. How can use Nuffnang Live to do it?

Nuffnang Live helps you to automatically capture orders during your Facebook Live sessions (from user comments), process your orders and accepts payments from buyers via our integrated payment gateway. Nuffnang Live will also provide you with an order summary report and produce invoices for your buyers. For Nuffnang Live Business there are additional services which are chargeable and they include order fulfilment and shipping services.

What am I not allowed to do on Nuffnang Live?

"-As a seller, you are not allowed to:

(a) upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available any Your Content (Facebook Live session via Nuffnang Live) that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, alarming, distressing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

(b) use the Services (Nuffnang Live platform's service) to impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;

(c) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of Your Content transmitted through the Services;

(d) remove or alter any proprietary notices from the Platform (Nuffnang Live platform);

(e) cause, permit or authorise the modification, creation of derivative works, or translation of the Services without our express permission;

(f) use the Services for the benefit of any third party or any manner not permitted by the licenses granted herein or for fraudulent or illegal purposes;

(g) use the Service in a dishonest or fraudulent way to obtain any advantage, benefit or secret profit from any third party.

(h) take any action that may undermine or manipulate the feedback or ratings systems;

(i) attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or hack the Services (or any portion thereof), or to defeat or overcome any encryption technology or security measures implemented by us with respect to the Services and/or data transmitted, processed or stored by us;

(j) harvest or collect any information about or regarding other Account holders, including, without limitation, any personal data or business information;

(k) upload, email, post, transmit or otherwise make available any of Your Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);

(l) upload, email, post, transmit or otherwise make available any of Your Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;

(m) upload, email, post, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, ""junk mail"", ""spam"", ""chain letters"", ""pyramid schemes"", or any other unauthorised form of solicitation;

(n) upload, email, post, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses, worms, Trojan-horses or any other computer code, routines, files or programs designed to directly or indirectly interfere with, manipulate, interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality or integrity of any computer software or hardware or data or telecommunications equipment;

(o) participate in any activities relating to pyramid schemes, ‘Ponzi’ schemes, gambling, sweepstakes, raffles, lotteries and other illegal activities;

(p) disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to ""scroll"" faster than other Users of the Services are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other Users' ability to engage in real time exchanges;

(q) interfere with, manipulate or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services or any other User's use and enjoyment of the Services, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Platform;

(r) take any action or engage in any conduct that could directly or indirectly damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Services or the servers or networks connected to the Services;

(s) use the Services to intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, rule, regulation, code, directive, guideline or policy including, without limitation, laws and requirements (whether or not having the force of law) relating to anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism, unlawful proceeds;

(t) use the Services in violation of or to circumvent any sanctions or embargo administered or laws enforced;

(u) use the Services to violate the privacy of others or to ""stalk"" or otherwise harass another;

(v) infringe the rights of NLC, including any intellectual property rights and any passing off of the same thereof;

(w) use the Services to mine, collect or store personal data about other users in connection with the prohibited conduct and activities set forth above. "

How do I connect my Facebook with Nuffnang Live?

Once you click on Facebook Live, you are required to log in to your Facebook account. Please make sure that your Facebook account is a Facebook page and not a normal individual Facebook profile. Confirm the Facebook account you want to use and proceed. Your Nuffnang Live is now connected to your Facebook account.

Do I need a Facebook account to use Nuffnang Live?

Yes, you do need a Facebook account.

How does payment process look like for my customers?

Our payment system is powered by iPay88. Once your customer has confirmed the orders in the checkout cart, your customer will be redirected to a secured payment page to complete the payment. If your customer prefers to pay via manual payment (online bank transfer), they just have to follow the payment instruction sent to their Messenger from your Facebook Business account and make payment accordingly.

How can my customers place orders during a live selling on Facebook?

All they need to do is to post the product code together with "+" and "required quantity". Example: If the product code is SEAFOODSET, the customer needs to enter SEAFOODSET+1 in the comment section. Nuffnang Live system will capture the order as 1 unit of SEAFOODSET for the customer.

Can I opt for manual payment for my customers (online bank transfer)?

Yes, you can do that. Just follow the instructions in the dashboard to include manual payment as another one of your payment option to offer to your customers.

Do I need a name for my Facebook Live Selling shows?

Yes, you definitely need one!

Do I need to practice before going live?

We highly recommend you to practice before going live, just in case there are any product information or technical aspects of the dashboard that you are not familiar with.

How should I structure my content in a Facebook Live session?

Pre Live: Make sure you communicate with your customers ahead of time on when you will be doing your live sessions and what are the products that are being sold.
Live: Introduction – start engaging your viewers with teasers/warm-up games eg encourage them to share the page and give away products once the desired no of shares or viewership is achieved. You can also conduct an online bidding for your products to generate participation and interaction with your viewers.
Products – make sure you clearly explain your product proposition (unique selling point), features and benefits. Better still if you can demo how effective your product is. Make sure to apply all the relevant advice in row 32. Always ensure your products are in open view and easy to see. Last but not least remember to remind your customers how they can purchase your products.
Post Live: Make sure to remind your customers to complete their payments and start your build-up for the next live session

How long should I go live in each session?

Averagely 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

What should I do to onboard customers for each live session?

Firstly, make sure that you have a comfortable runway of time to tease your audience on your live session before going live. This will help you to create as much awareness as possible to your targeted audience. You should also consider reminding your audience to bookmark your live session as an event, OR, invest in performance marketing tools on Facebook to automate bookmarking your event so your audience will not forget about your live session! Incentives such as promotions, redemption rewards and after care service are also great to ensure your customers remember about you and keep them anticipating for your next live session.

How should I address complicated questions during a Facebook Live session?

For questions you can't answer during your livestream, politely inform the commenter you will get back to him/her after the session.

How many products should I sell in a single Facebook Live session?

We usually suggest a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 7 products. For interactive videos, it is always best to keep to odd numbers.

How should I price my items?

You should always do your research with at least 2 to 3 direct competitors, if the price of your product is competitive in the market. Setting your price at a slightly lower range or packaging it with promotions will increase the likelihood of your products being sold better in the market. You should also consider seasonality as one of the factors when pricing your product to be relevant to the market i.e. consumers trend and mega sales periods.

How should I incentivize my customers to come back shopping from me?

Attractive promotions, great after sales customer care and rewards as redemptions are some of the things you can consider to attract repeated buys.

How do I sell multiple products in a show?

Before you start your livestream, fill-up the product catalogue with the products you want to sell - product name and accompanying product codes. During the livestream, post the product with purchase instructions. Buyers then will order using the product code. Nuffnang Live will auto-capture the orders and auto-message the buyers the order details to checkout and payment. However, make sure you end the order of a product before moving on to the next product in your Nuffnang Live system.
